Every Maundy Thursday
Setting: Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper"
In 1494, Leonardo da Vinci was commissioned to decorate the wall of the church of Santa Maria Della Grazie in Milan, Italy. The painting shows Jesus partaking of the Passover meal with His disciples just before His arrest and crucifixion.
Theme: "IS IT I?"
During the meal Jesus said, "One of you will betray me." One by one the disciples "Come to life" to share his thoughts and to wonder if he would be the one to betray our Lord.
Laymen from the church portray Jesus and the twelve disciples.
Tickets are not required for this worship opportunity.
The pageant lasts approximately one (1) hour and fifteen (15) minutes.
Plenty of well-lighted, handicap accessible parking is always available.
